Have you heard about latest ‘craze’ with Pocket Letters, started by Janette Lane? There is a lot of posts on IG about this. I’ve only stumbled upon this a couple months ago and have had the pleasure of swapping with a couple partners on the Pocket Letter Pals site. Unfortunately I was too excited to send out my pocket letters that I forgot to take photos of them! This time around, I managed to do 4 pocket letters and remembered to take photos before sending them out. Here’s a few photos from what I made… This one here is for a private swap. The last in the series for the Season of Love from the Get Messy Art Journal project , I finally managed to finish these pages. Always I end up starting and walking away from these unfinished because I get stuck about how to go about it. Finally, settled on the leather strings I’ve had in my stash for a while now.

Finally managed to get a chance to take a photo of my recent book acquisitions 🙂 We’ve hardly bought books last year more because of the shipping costs. We typically order from Amazon as we don’t usually find books we like at the bookstores in Shanghai esp. when it comes to crafts and cooking.

It has indeed been some time since I managed to blog just about anything. For some reason when December started, we got swamped with work which is great of course, as it made up for the very slow beginning of 2009. So I’ve been trying to find little pockets of time in between work and weekend with the kids to do something. Our Christmas presents for the family unfortunately still has to go out! It’s awful and I’m fortunate my family has been quite forgiving about the lateness. I guess they get to have Christmas all over again… the gifts will finally and definitely will be out this week and I’m…
