Super excited and honoured to be a guest at the Alila Anji for a series of weekends dedicated to artful explorations with kids. The program is called “Artist-in-Residence” which is part of the pop-up series of events. I’ve been asked to develop a series of art workshops for kids and adults who are guests at the resort (check out their website and you will see how amazing the resort is).
While this is not something I do full-time (since I have company to run), I think this is something I can add to my bulging bag of experiences. Bucketlist ticked? Yes can be that esp since I have thought of creating weekend workshops, years ago but never got it started. So here is an opportunity to give this a try.
Last July 28th and 29th, I had my first weekend and here are a few photos I’m excited to share with you. The three classes were geared towards different age groups, activities include ice painting and sun printing for kids and travel journaling for adults…. although we had a cool 7-year old attend the latter.
Here’s a look at what Day 1 was like:
Here’s a look at Day 2 which covers the 2 remaining classes:
This coming weekend (August 8th – 9th) will be the second of the five weekends that I will be at Alila Anji. We will keep you posted!
In the meantime, here’s a couple links to what the media has said about their experiences (sorry link is only in Chinese).
