Rediscovering my love for watercolours

Back in college, I used watercolour a lot and used it solely on the advertisement artworks we had to submit for our thesis. This was the time when no one owned computers let alone learned to use one. I love the washes and layers I can do with it. Then I went to Nankai University…

Reading

You probably see from my photos not only here on the blog but also on my Project Life spreads that I hardly show books. This does not mean that I don’t read. I love to read and I would say one of my prized possessions apart from my albums are basically my books. It’s just…

Hello!

Hectic days but I’ve also been busy designing new planner pages to download VERY SOON! Have a great weekend!

December around here…

… has been a blur with a flurry of routine stuff + the preparations for the holidays all keeping us busy.

Around here…

… our days seem to go in a blur! … keeping a journal handy with my fauxdori (courtesy from the fantastic Happie Scrappie) and custom-made insert to document our Week in the Life … school homework takes a big part of our evenings … work has been hectic with deadlines all sort of happening at…

A typical June weather that calls for wellies and raincoats as we walk to school and work every morning during the weekdays. This is the season when closets needs more airing to prevent mold and mildew from setting, when laundry…

More Valentine’s Day Stuff

Yesterday has been a very hectic day and to top with all the family stuff and as if I didn’t have enough things to do, I still went ahead and made these Cheesecake Pops. It was an even messier experience than making the Red Velvet Cake Balls version and just couldn’t help wish that I…

Books Galore…

Finally managed to get a chance to take a photo of my recent book acquisitions 🙂 We’ve hardly bought books last year more because of the shipping costs. We typically order from Amazon as we don’t usually find books we like at the bookstores in Shanghai esp. when it comes to crafts and cooking.
